EU-MATTER is implemented by a transnational partnership of organisations working across Europe to strengthen youth civic participation and democratic dialogue.
The consortium brings together organisations with expertise in civic education, youth engagement, policy research and communication.
Each partner contributes specific knowledge and experience to support the project’s objectives.
Romania
— In Varietate Concordia
In Varietate Concordia (IVC) is a NGO based in Bucharest, Romania, founded in 2018 with the mission, reflected in its name, of promoting inclusion, diversity, and youth active participation in civic and democratic life. Since its establishment, IVC has been actively involved in the design and implementation of initiatives that aim to strengthen young people’s participation in democratic life, European values, , empowering marginalized groups, fostering social inclusion and facilitating international mobility.

Sinergie, born in Naples in 2021, is a social cooperative with a very clear mission. To promote human dignity and societal integration, emphasizes inclusion and sustainable resource use. Our activities, include education, awareness
campaigns, and empowerment initiatives, with a focus on marginalized social groups. We aim to collaborate with various entities and organize events while providing training to facilitate inclusivity based on specific needs. Our ultimate
objective is to enhance education and opportunities for individuals with fewer advantages.

Our mission is to bring change within communities, organizations and policies by implementing innovative social initiatives.
Romania
— Group of the European Youth for Change (GEYC)
Founded in 2010 in Romania, GEYC emerged from a generation of young people who wanted more than participation on paper. From the beginning, GEYC focused on practical engagement, empowering youth, teachers, and youth workers to collaborate and lead change within a single digital community. Over time, GEYC evolved from a national youth NGO into an internationally active organisation, working at the intersection of youth empowerment and civic participation, education and digital transformation, sustainability and global citizenship, humanitarian action and international cooperation.

Our mission is to strengthen the protection and enforcement of human rights by translating high-level legal expertise into practical tools for institutions, civil society, professionals, and affected individuals.

Together for Life (TFL) is a non-governmental and non-profit organization established in Albania in 2009. We operate in the field of human rights protection, social justice, legal advocacy, and strategic litigation through direct interventions in communities as well as institutional advocacy at both central and local levels. Our work focuses on empowering citizens, strengthening community resilience, and promoting accountable governance structures.

The Center for the Study of Democracy (CSD), founded in 1989 and based in Sofia, Bulgaria, is an independent, interdisciplinary think tank with a longstanding commitment to democratic values, civic empowerment, and social innovation. With a strong reputation across Europe, CSD integrates academic research, public policy analysis, and civil society engagement to address critical challenges in democratic governance, disinformation, human rights, youth participation, and the rule of law. Its activities span a wide spectrum of domains, including civic education, counter-radicalisation, anti-corruption, social inclusion, digital resilience, and criminal justice reform.
